About Bob Brehmer

First of all, my work is meant to be pleasing to the eye. My use of bright and lively colors is a visual statement hoping to draw attention.

The second aspect of my work is that it is meant to be used for everyday purposes—eating, drinking, or holding flowers.

The forms themselves are rather simple, but have a clean line and a finish to match. I want people to touch them and pick them up, getting a tactile experience as well.

My work is reasonably priced because I want people to own them, not just look, and so they feel like they can use the pieces everyday without the worry of breaking something expensive and difficult to replace. I hope this keeps customers coming back to me for more. I love making the pieces. It is the public’s patronage that allows me to continue to work with this wonderful medium for my living.
